Wamuhle Ntombi unamazinyo am’hlope

(You are so beautiful, young lady, your teeth are even white)

Ubuhle bakho baziwa ezizweni

(Your beauty is known across the world)

Izintsizwa zikhala ngawe
(Young men go crazy over you)

Amehlo akho ayachakaza

(Your eyes are so bright) 

Sengathi ane’zinkanyezi

(Its like they have stars in them)

Izintaba azidilike

(These mountains should fall)

Sibonane

(So we can see each other)

Lezo Ntaba zoKhahlamba

(Those mountains of the East)

Aziphakame
(Must rise up)

Zingiphe ithuba lok’ kwenza umama wekhaya.

(And give me an opportunity to make you a mother in our home)
