Many of the dates I want with you
I’ve already been on alone
I have seen the artists
I have seen the cities
I have known the solitude

Climbed the altitudes
Hiked the Alps
I know loneliness
And I know how to be alone
To be quiet in a storm
To carry myself through a cold winter night

To comfort myself
To process my thoughts
To process myself
To accept myself
In fullness.
I’ve dated myself
I love myself
The memories are purer because I will always have those …
