Dear Tshego,
The skies are so dramatic here mgani, the soil is rich, they use ant hill soil for bricklaying. There are many yellow cabs. The traffic is so dense and the air is humid. There is also an actual robot in the middle of town directing traffic. The town is buzzing with culture, blackness and struggling sewage systems. They are painting the strip in the center of town red & white and adding flowers in the middle to brighten up the city.
During our commute to the office, I saw a sign on the road to work that read “KaLanga”, I was so curious. Then I heard the most beautiful melody in the evening from what sounded like a choir of men, the words were not very clear to me but their harmony was like nothing I have ever heard before.
At work today I met, the Baluba Kat of Katanga are a group of traditional Baluba performers who take corporate gigs in Congo show casing their beautiful culture. I wanted to know abit more about their culture but they asked me to kindly go home, learn their language, come back & then they will tell me everything, in the same tone a Zulu would use to remind you to greet them in the street.

Anyway , I hope you watering my plants.
I miss you friend
With Love,
